When you use the Pickatale Dooel services (hereinafter Pickatale) or are in contact with us, we will collect and process personal information about you. It is voluntary to provide personal information, but most of the information is necessary in order to use Pickatale, and necessary to enter into an agreement with us. Failure to provide the information means that you will not use Pickatale.
Therefore, below you will find information about personal data collected, why we do this, and your rights related to the processing of personal data.

2. Why do we collect and what information do we store?
We collect and process your personal information for different purposes depending on who you are and how we come into contact with you. We try to keep stored personal data to a minimum. We collect the following personal information for the specified purposes: personal name, email address, geographical area, age, IP address, nickname, reading progress information. The personal information is collected and processed in order to fulfill our agreement with you on the use of Pickatale. In order to help those who contact us, we have considered it necessary to process personal data on the basis of a balance of interests. Upon initial registration in Pickatale, we will ask you for specific consent for some treatments listed here:
• Personal follow-up with reports and tips so you can monitor your child’s progress in the game.
• Newsletter distribution, if you are interested in future Pickatale products.
• Use of personal information to personalize Pickatale to the user. For those treatments that are based on consent, it is voluntary to consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by going to My Page.
3. How do we secure your information?
Your information is transferred from your device to our servers using HTTPS. Our database is set up for one-way communication, so no outsiders can retrieve information. We have implemented and utilized recognized security solutions to secure your information.
4. Who has access to your information?
We will not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis will typically be an agreement with you or a legal basis that requires us to disclose the information. Pickatale has limited access to the database so that only our employees and third parties with whom we have data processing agreements have access. Pickatale will in some cases share statistics of anonymised information with third parties. Pickatale only uses subcontractors who have the same level of protection for personal data as we have. 5. Your rights
You have the right to demand access, rectification or deletion of the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, object to the processing and demand the right to data portability. To exercise your rights, you must send us an email at email@example.com or send us a letter at the address stated above. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest. We will ask you to confirm your identity or to provide further information before allowing us to exercise your rights to us. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal information to you – and not someone who claims to be you. You may at any time withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data with us.
6. How long is your personal data stored?
We store your personal information with us for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal information was collected. This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent. The personal information we process to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement is fulfilled and all obligations arising from the agreement are fulfilled. Your information is stored as long as you continue to use Pickatale. If you cancel your subscription, your personal information will be deleted after 1 year. Please note that uninstalling the app does not involve deleting personal information or unsubscribing.

8. Who are our subcontractors?
Pickatale uses data processors to collect, store or otherwise process personal data on our behalf. We have entered into data processing agreements with the following: Google, Inc. (Database, Email, Analytics, Marketing) Microsoft Corporation. (Language Pack Hosting, License Management) Facebook, Inc. (Analytics, Marketing), Adjust (analysis tools), Amplitude (analysis tools), Slack Technologies (Internal communication) Mailchimp (Newsletter and automated emails)
Should there be a change in our services or changes in the regulations regarding the processing of personal data, it may result in a change in the information we have provided here. Changes will be published in the form of updating the app. In addition, up-to-date information will always be readily available on our website.
